Have you ever been told that you are too nice to be a Christian? One of my friends (who is also Christian) told me that the other day. I don't know why but it bothered me and it still does. She told me that I was the true Christian and not the other Christian. It just bothers me because I feel that I am just doing as God as planned for me to do. Its it because I accept and love everyone equally? Is it because I don't show hate or anger towards people? Or is it because I understand what it is that God has planned for me and just living my life for him? But why did she say that I am too nice to be Christian? Why couldn't she just have said that you are a true Christian? But even then it would have bothered me because I don't consider myself to be better than anyone.

Does anyone have any insight?

I like Bush being our president and all but im not for sure what he's thinking now days. I just hope the man knows what he's doing.
I saw this headline and almost went into shock.

TEHRAN, Iran — Iraqi President Jalal Talabani arrived in Tehran on Monday amid increasing calls for Washington to enlist Iran's help in calming the escalating violence in neighboring Iraq.

on and on they talked about how the president has asked Iran to meet with the Iraqi President. Who knows what kind of devilish plans they came up with about how to attack us. We all know that Iran's president don't like us and neither does Iraq.
What is goin on?
I hope our president knows what he's doing.

whats the thrill in scary movies and games?
why is it that we like to watch movies like Saw, The Silence of the Lamb, The exorcist? Play games like Mortal Kombat,i cant really think of any more because i dont play games but kids play Zelda, Dragon BallZ. Why?

We wish to sit back and watch demons run out of control on stage and possessed persons carry out every will of evil. Games with more blood and gore then real life, become our attentino for most of the day.
Don't you find something wrong with this Christian people?

Using a script I used in another posting somewhere else I wonder why it is that we wish to cause ourselves to fear when fear is not of God, unless our goal is to be apart form God. Why do we seek to entertain ourselves with matter that is against The Word of God in so many ways? Is it that we fear we are missing out on something the world is doing? If that be the case became one of them and enjoy the fullest of all the benefits, death and all.

The Bible says unto us to think on these things:
Philippians 4:8 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Can someone tell me why we do this? What is the thrill in this kind of entertainment?

I found this article in Christianity Today the title read:

"Tension Behind the Pulpit-ithas always been so" Martyn Percy

It started out by telling of a joke of two priest who got stranded on an island by the time they were saved they had started two seperate church.
They had some choice of why this was, most of which me no understand why they took out the time to write, but over all it was a boring article.
In real life its an awesome subject tht might need to be addressed so please leave your opinion of why you think it is the church is so seperated. Why all the denominations, differnat beliefs, differant Bibles(that say differant things?
You tell me your opinion and i'll tell you mine.
